¡Buenas noticias! We are happy to announce the continuation of Cuentacuentos, our popular storytime programme for Spanish speakers. Join us for engaging storytelling, creative crafts, and exciting activities for the whole family to enjoy – all carried out en español. This programme is perfect for tamariki aged 2+, as well as their older siblings and whānau.
Cuentacuentos es un programa destinado a familias que hablan y/o quieren potenciar el español en sus hogares.
Ven a disfrutar y a compartir libros, historias, canciones, juegos, dinámicas y actividades en español para grandes y chicos.

We hold children's books in Spanish at all of our libraries except for Khandallah and Wadestown, with larger collections at Karori, Kilbirnie, Newtown, and Johnsonville Libraries. Visit this link to browse our Spanish-language children's books. If you see a book that you like, you can reserve it to be picked up from the library you visit the most often.
