School Holiday Programmes

Our libraries offer a variety of events and activities for tamariki and rangatahi during the school holidays. Find out what's on at your library these holidays!

Every school holidays, we put together a programme of fun and free events and activities for tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau, ranging from special storytimes and craft sessions up to puppetry performances, author visits, robotics sessions, and more.

For the 2025 Spring School Holidays we invite you to join us for As Seen on the Screen, a programme of events that brings your favourite films, TV shows, and games to life! With activities from library scavenger hunts to Minecraft-themed LEGO® building, there's something for everyone!
