Taunaha Whenua: Naming the Land
In July 2020, coinciding with Matariki, Ngā Taonga Tumu Whakarae Honiana Love (Te Ātiawa, Taranaki, Ngā Ruahinerangi) gave this extremely popular oral history of place names used by mana whenua for the Wellington region. Wellington City Libraries were proud to tautoko this kōrero in association with Ngā Taonga and the National Library of New Zealand.
